The ladies of AEPhi at NYU baked hamentashen last weekend to share with their friends on Purim. Intern Katie Goldman, NYC Class of 2014 and a student in the Steinhardt Program for Education Theatre, spear-headed the event, inviting her friends to fulfill the mitzvah of Shalach Manot (sending packages of food). “I was so happy with the turn-out at the event and the enthusiasm from the group,” Katie says. “We made so many flavors of hamentashen and got to taste-test everything!”
