At the University of Michigan, JHP is a professional networking club — a place for students who want career exploration and professional development alongside a tight-knit Jewish community.
The chapter meets Tuesday evenings at Chabad on Hill Street, with dinner provided. Most weeks bring a speaker — Jewish professionals talking candidly about their careers and how their Judaism fits alongside them. Recent guests have included an AI specialist at Google, a real estate attorney, an Alzheimer’s researcher, and a University of Michigan professor of Jewish thought. In between, the chapter cooks: babka, hamantaschen, sushi, and pizza.
Members also get access to JHP’s national network of alumni, mentors, and Jewish Business Network members, a mentorship program, and a trek to New York each spring.
