The ongoing commitment of JHP alumni is evidence of – and essential to – the continued success of JHP’s mission. Through their efforts and generosity, JHP alumni sustain a network dedicated to preserving Jewish culture, building connections, and inspiring the community.
With an ever-growing roster of alumni, JHP continues its mission of instilling Jewish identity and values in the program’s members. Alumni are most welcome to remain involved in campus-based programs after graduation — and as they become established in their careers, many return as mentors to current JHP students.
JHP’s alumni programming includes mentorship, social events such as Shabbat dinners, and continued learning opportunities. Alumni are JHP’s fastest-growing base of financial support and provide a strong presence at fundraising events.
In Their Words
“At JHP, you could have Jewish identity and varying levels of Jewish observance, while also having the social and community aspect. It created a space that allowed me to be comfortable in my Judaism.”
Julie Wertheimer
“There are many ways to practice Judaism, and the best way to have young adults become involved is to engage them in a way that is relatable.”
Carin Gribetz
“A great way to build community and network with others on a college campus – in a Jewish way.”
Julie Mozes
