When red-and-blue-clad students turned up at JHP@Penn's Purim Brunch this past Sunday carrying tubas, trombones, and flutes, the interns were more than a little confused... Turns out the Penn band can play Purim songs! Check our Facebook page for digital proof of this absurdity.
At this week's weekly intern meeting, the JHP@Penn interns - along with the Penn band - performed some Purim mitzvot by enjoying a festive meal together and sending gifts of food and goodies to other brunch attendees. We didn't have any leftover lox, so you know the brunch was a hit. Plus, we got to see Ephraim in a wig!
