When did you join JHP? How involved were you?

I joined in September 1993.

When you think of JHP, what comes to mind?

How warm and welcoming an environment it was, and how it allowed each student to practice Judaism in a way that was comfortable for them.

What is one of your favorite JHP memories and why?

I love the fact that my husband and I were independently involved in JHP in different capacities. We met years later after we had both graduated, but that was always a common bond.

What was your favorite JHP event?

Shabbat dinners! I also really enjoyed learning the parsha of the week with Rabbi Levin!

What have you learned from JHP that you will take with you to your job or to the rest of your life?

There are many ways to practice Judaism, and the best way to have young adults become involved is to engage them in a way that is relatable.
