A Sweet New Year

September 29, 2014 by JHP

Several JHP@Penn interns celebrated Rosh Hashanah on campus with their friends by hosting events with apples and honey provided by JHP. Interns discussed their own Rosh Hashanah traditions and the significance of apples and honey.  It was a great start to the new year for all!

“Having an apples and honey study break was a great way to bring people together to celebrate the Jewish New Year. We enjoyed the opportunity to be surrounded  with friends during the High Holidays.”

– Jessie Abrams, JHP@Penn Intern

“It was sweet to celebrate the new year with apples and honey, and friends!”

– Dani Kohn, JHP@Penn Intern
