A Special JBN: Wawa and the Red Cross Highlighted Corporate Philanthropy in Philadelphia

July 21, 2016 by JHP

Yesterday, JHP’s Jewish Business Network hosted Wawa CEO Chris Gheysens and American Red Cross Eastern PA CEO Judge Renée Cardwell in conversation about the role of corporate philanthropy in a life-saving Philadelphia initiative. Independence Blue Cross generously hosted our group of over 100 JBN members and guests to learn more about the American Red Cross project to reduce fire fatalities in Philadelphia, in partnership with local and national corporations.
JBN attendees were thrilled to learn about the project, as well as hear about other exciting new initiatives within Wawa and the Red Cross, such as Wawa’s continued expansion plans in Center City!
