Emily is the Engagement Associate, UPenn. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Middle School Math and Science Education and recently completed her master’s degree in Digital Age Learning and Educational Technology at Johns Hopkins University. Before joining JHP, Emily spent several years as a middle school science teacher, where she developed a deep passion for building relationships, supporting students, and creating meaningful learning experiences.
Emily is especially passionate about helping others feel connected, supported, and seen. She brings a strong background in education, relationship-building, and student engagement to her role, and is excited to help create welcoming opportunities for students to explore their identity, build community, and strengthen their connection to Jewish life
