On Friday, March 11th, over 100 Temple University students gathered together for Shabbat dinner on campus in Morgan Hall. The JHP@Temple Shabbat for 100 Lead Intern, Saul Shaaltiel, worked hard to organize the event with different student organizations on campus.
"Shabbat for 100 was the first Jewish event I attended as a freshman and really liked the atmosphere. I have enjoyed the opportunity to organize the biggest Shabbat dinner on campus! My hope is that other students felt the same sense of community at Shabbat for 100 as I did."
- Saul Shaaltiel, JHP@Temple Lead Intern.
On Wednesday, March 9th, JHP@Temple interns made challah and dessert at the Chabad House in preparation for the big dinner. The JHP interns are all excited for the upcoming Purim celebrations and Hamentaschen making this week!
