Jonathan S. Tobin is the Editor in Chief of the Jewish News Syndicate — JNS.org — and a Senior Contributor for The Federalist as well as a columnist for Newsweek. He is also a contributor for Commentary magazine and other publications. He covers on a daily basis the American political scene, foreign policy, the U.S-Israel relationship, Middle East diplomacy and the Jewish world as well as the arts. He is also the host of the JNS “Think Twice” podcast, both the weekly video program and the Jonathan Tobin Daily program which are both available on all major audio platforms and YouTube. Previously, he was first executive editor and then senior online editor and chief political blogger for Commentary magazine.

Prior to that he was editor in chief of the Jewish Exponent in Philadelphia and before that the editor of the Connecticut Jewish Ledger. He has won more than 60 awards for commentary, arts criticism and other writing. He appears regularly on television commenting on politics and foreign policy. Born in New York City, he studied history at Columbia University.
