JHP reaches out to undergraduate students on campuses across the country to help them connect with their Jewish identity, build leadership skills, and create professional networks.
We are currently on 9 campuses across the country:
University of Pennsylvania ◆ Temple University ◆ Penn State ◆ University of Pittsburgh ◆ Vanderbilt ◆ University of Michigan ◆ University if Texas at Austin ◆ Ohio University ◆ Miami University of Ohio
Each year, a core group of student interns who have gained an understanding of and appreciation for their Jewish heritage, engage fellow students, plan and hold events, and recruit friends to build Jewish community and identity. This core group of interns form the backbone of JHP that reaches Jews from all backgrounds in comfortable, non-judgmental ways.
JHP is something that makes you feel greater than yourself. So at Penn when things are really stressful and you’re digging yourself in a hole in Huntsman, JHP overcomes all boundaries that exist in a normal college life, whether its people coming to Shabbat or PB&J-a-Thon”
JHP serves as my safe place on campus. It is where I go to seek comfort, security, happiness, and fun. It teaches me how to incorporate Judaism into the social, professional, and philanthropic aspects of my life. For that I am forever grateful!”
