This past Shabbat JHP@Penn student interns got together for a beautiful Shabbat dinner in the basement of the newly-finished Lubavitch House at Penn building. The JHP interns brought many friends for the delicious dinner that Rebetzing Flora Levin helped prepare.
There were over 30 students socializing, eating and learning words of Torah from Rabbi Ephraim Levin and Rabbi Menachem Schmidt. There was so much energy and excitement in the room, which helped make it a successful and beautiful Shabbat dinner!
JHP is also kicking off its programs at Temple University, Drexel University, USC, and others across the nation. Stay tuned for updates on all of our Rosh Hashanah activities.
"It was amazing to see so many old and new faces. We literally were sharing chairs there was so much interest! Of course, it would have been nothing without Flora's famous homemade challah and Menachem's L'Chaim mini-speeches. All I can say is that I'm definitely looking forward to this year."
