This past Monday evening, JHP@Drexel had the pleasure of hosting Bob O'Leary, the CEO of Philadelphia Insurance Companies for an evening of networking and mentorship! Mr. O'Leary gave our students his ten best tips on how to be successful in the business world, emphasizing the importance of proper interview etiquette and follow up.
The highlight of his keynote speech came when JHP@Drexel Intern, Chelsea Moss shared her public speaking anxiety, and Mr. O'Leary paused his remarks to show her how to overcome her fears! The evening then broke up into networking with professionals from a variety of fields.
"I loved that I had the opportunity to practice public speaking with Bob O'Leary! As a marketing major, public speaking will be extremely important in my future career. It was comforting to know that Mr. O'Leary was once afraid of public speaking himself!"
