Rebecca Feldman

Israel Engagement Coordinator

Rebecca is JHP’s Israel Engagement Coordinator and Penn’s Campus Coordinator. Rebecca oversees the Penn JHP internship empowering students to include Judaism in their lifestyle. Rebecca also plans educational and social events surrounding Israel for JHP students at Penn, and helps run the Penn Mayanot Birthright Trip. Rebecca graduated from Temple University in the winter of 2016 before starting JHP with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and a double minor in Psychology and Jewish Studies. Rebecca is excited about working at JHP and getting her non-profit “fix” in before she goes on to attain higher education in the scientific field. Rebecca served as Israel Chair on Hillel at Temple’s Student Executive Board, as Vice President of Programming of her sorority, and as a fellow for both The David Project and StandWithUs where she learned wonderful leadership and relationship building skills. Rebecca is also a Birthright Israel Fellow and traveled to Israel for the NINTH time when she went to staff the Penn Birthright trip in May 2017. When she isn’t working, Rebecca enjoys hanging out with friends, watching Netflix, eating sushi, and traveling. Rebecca looks forward to engaging new students, expanding JHP at Penn, teaching about Israel, and defending the only Jewish state on campus this year.
