We host peer-to-peer events that reconnect students and alumni to their identities, communities, and lifelong outlets for Jewish expression.

JHP Mentoring

“I feel that people like me, who have built successful careers, can have a profound impact on young students looking for a guide or a role model and, more importantly, to answer the questions they feel uncomfortable asking their parents or friends. These questions are focused on career, religion and life in general. I’ve received enormous satisfaction in mentoring and feel that I’ve had real impact on the lives of students I’ve mentored.”
- Ilan Kaufthal, former Vice Chair, Bear Stearns

JHP recognizes that students have a greater need for career guidance and developing networks than the university can provide them. JHP Mentoring has provided this critical support for 15 years as well as equally important opportunities to see balanced professional lives that embrace Jewish identity modeled.
JHP has a growing resource of more than 1,000 Mentors in nearly every field imaginable to offer career guidance, access to networks, and a personal example that Jewish identity and career success go hand in hand.

With JHP Mentoring…

  • Thousands have received Mentoring on Philadelphia, New York, and Florida campuses.
  • Hundreds of students will receive one-on-one or small group time with industry leaders in New York City and Philadelphia this year alone.
  • Hundreds of previously Mentored students now offer their time as JHP Mentors, creating a perpetual cycle of helping students, maximizing careers, and social responsibility.
